Event Dates: July 14th, July 21st

Cheers to amazing food, amazing people, and fighting hunger one bite at a time! Surrender your palate to an amazing 4- or 5-course (you choose) showcase of delectable local eats prepared by top-notch chefs in downtown Greenville’s finest restaurants. You’re invited to a fun and interactive culinary grub crawl, where you’ll meet the chefs, feast on signature dishes, and interact with other awesome patrons like yourself (yes, we think you’re awesome!). Choose your date – July 14th or July 21st (or both, if you’re hungry!) and your plates (patron’s choice from an exclusive menu at each restaurant), and prepare for a feast that fills your belly and feeds the hungry throughout Greenville County. Your culinary journey begins as follows:
Chapter 1 - The Commerce Club (Featured only on the 21st of July)
Take off to the 17th floor penthouse of the One Liberty Square building in the heart of downtown Greenville! The Commerce Club offers the highest level of excellence in elegant dining and gracious service in a unique private club atmosphere. As you soak in the panoramic views of Greenville and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, Executive Chef Chris Kirtner will take you through his off-the-menu specials for this event!
Chapter 2 - Stellar Restaurant and Wine Bar
Your next destination waits! Just a few blocks and a short walk away, you’ll begin your ascent to the 2nd floor astral getaway of Stellar Restaurant and Wine Bar. Overlooking Main Street, Stellar’s warm and starry interior provides the perfect backdrop against which to enjoy fine wines, specialty martinis, fine scotches, and bourbons, all complimented by artisan cheeses, enticing fondues, gourmet plates and specialty house made confections. Tantalize your taste buds as Executive Chef Jennifer Barone prepares an exclusive summer dish for you to savor!
Chapter 3 - Sassafras Southern Bistro
Descend from the stars and head to your next local hot spot, right across the street! One of the oldest restaurants in downtown Greenville, Sassafras is renowned for amazing food, great times, and a personal touch. Serving outstanding low-country favorites in a unique and intimate atmosphere, proprietors Brant, Joe and Jennifer Kennedy personally attend to patrons and ensure your complete enjoyment. While normally closed on Sundays, the family at Sassafras will open their home for you all to feast! Executive Chef Stewart Gunter will nourish your mind and soul with an array of classic low-country favorites, served family-style.
Chapter 4 - The Loft at Soby’s
Down the street, a new destination awaits, perched on the rooftop – giving patrons a magnificent view of Downtown! Located above Soby’s on the Side at 22 A East Court Street, The Loft at Soby’s is a private dining destination with a full complement of modern amenities, including a kitchen, dining room, roof top patio, and living room. Make yourself at home while the talented chefs from the Table 301 restaurant group whip up local favorites for all Greenvillians. The Loft lends a touch of elegance and comfort unlike anywhere else in Greenville, and provides the perfect place to relax and unwind while you treat yourself to a new culinary experience.
Chapter 5: Sip Tasting Lounge*
As we come to an end on this exciting culinary journey, we’ll celebrate the evening with your choice of wine, cocktail, or a refreshing craft beer from the roof top bar, Sip Tasting Lounge. Kick back and relax as you breathe in the fresh air and view the glittering lights of Downtown Greenville’s Main Street. Perched on the 3rd floor rooftop, this recently-opened sleek and trendy rooftop lounge features a 1,000-bottle, lighted wine wall crafted by Kessick Wine Cellars. *Participants must be 21 or older

Buying a Ticket

We have coordinated with the chefs and restaurants to offer two event dates for you to choose.  Each day has a different crawl order, a different lineup of restaurants (though some restaurants are participating on both offered days), and a different price point – all so that you can tailor your experience to your preferences and to your budget.  For even more variety and customization (and to help us keep the crowds small and friendly), we have four different starting times on each event day.

The Eat2Feed event will run rain or shine.

Buying a ticket couldn’t be easier!  Choose your day, and click "Purchase Tickets."  You’ll be redirected to EventBrite, our secure third-party ticket vendor.  Once there, choose your start time, then enter your contact information and make your menu selections, and then check out.  Simple! If you are looking to donate, we accept donations on the ticket page as well!

Don’t forget to print your ticket (with all of your menu information) and bring it with you to the event.  We’ll need it to check you in, and the restaurants will need it to serve you your chosen dishes. 

Voilà! You are ready to attend a glorious event that is sure to be as much fun as it is filling!

About the Charity

Project Host uses food as a tool to nourish the hungry and train the unemployed.  It's Soup Kitchen offers a balanced, nutritious meal each day in a safe, clean and loving environment to all who are hungry.  It serves approximately 150 of our less fortunate neighbors each day Sunday through Friday.  Meals are offered to anyone who comes through the door, no questions asked.  Volunteers offer their time and energy in preparing and serving tens of thousands of meals every year.
